I spoke to my parts guy,he said the part needs to be pressed off He thinks it may be my pinion I have the front off the differential I need to look in the back with a flashlight for clues------ I bought this car on a whim 15 years ago it has been wrestling me ever since
 
At this point take out the driveshaft and change the u-joint you will regret not doing it have it balanced bring it to a machine shop don't waste your time it will be money well spent .
 
And dont bother changing the u joints in the driveshaft they have to remove them to balance it. I took my new UJoints with me in their boxes and handed them to the guy. He installed them for me as part of the balancing process.
