Hello, I just wanted to post a little note and introduce myself. I recently bought my wife an MG Midget to help keep her quiet about my toys--a '69 XKE, an '86 XJS, and a '52 F1 pickup truck. All are more or less projects, except the MG which only needs minor attention.
I'm hoping the little convertible will keep her happy----and quiet about the other cars in the driveway!!! The convertible season is very short here in WY, so we'll see what happens. So far, so good!
Anyway, I also posted a couple questions about the MG on the MG forum, and I'm hoping to get a little help and maybe make some online "friends" thru these forums as I progress thru the projects!
Thanks,

Damon

Hi Damon,

"Welcome" to one of "THEE" best "LBC" (Little British Car) forums you`ll come across.

I guess you already know what to do here so; Enjoy Yourself as well as Your Wife.

"`69XKE"! Coupe or Rdstr? E-Types are My all time favorite cars! The Boss here has an E-Type as well. Post some pics of all your toys.

Enjoy,

Russ

Hi Russ,

The '69 is a coupe, 2+2. I've wanted one for years, and finally found one on ebay. After dickering with the guy, I picked it up for a reasonable (I think) price. So, now I've got one. I had that car shipped to my brother in PA so he could do some mechanical work to it, and while it was there I "got lonesome" and picked up the '86 XJS for me to tinker with. The '52 Ford came by accident, right place ant the right time, right price, so I picked that up as well. Now, there is not enough time to work on them all, because of course the wife's Midget comes first! Oh, and the starter is acting up, so I will be replacing that in the next day or so. As soon as I get a chance, I'll post some photos.
