Hello all,
I have lived on the Island for 15 years after emigrating from England and bringing with me my beloved 1974 TR6 which i have owned for 20 years now.
'Daisy' is now fully restored, up to and including paint, a long process but enjoyed it all.
She turns a few heads up here in BC with her fuel injection and i think moreover, that her steering wheel is on the wrong side...
I also own a 1982 DHC TR7 which i also restored more recently.
She sat for 20 years without a lot of TLC until i purchased her 6 years ago.
Very low kilometers so was worth a shot. I finished her back to original silver leaf paint and blue interior.
My latest project is a 1972 GT6 which i acquired in Kelowna 2 years ago,
As with so many Spit/GT6 models she came with a ton of rot and rust and i have started repairs from passenger wheel working back and around.
Floors, sills, wheel arches, boot floor and all the usual areas have been addressed as i go.
I have videoed the progress so far but unlike some on this forum, have not been brave enough to put up on YouTube as yet, maybe one day eh...
I hope to gain some valuable info from all you guys, and who knows, maybe i can give some useful nuggets along the way.
Take care and all the best..
