I owned a couple of MGB Roadsters in the mid 1980s. A 1976 first, and then a 1971. I sold them in the early 1990s and have regretted it ever since. I saw a 1969 MGB for sale locally, went to look at it, and bought it. It needs some work. Just cleaned and rebuilt the carburetors. I am working on the exhaust and some electrical issues. It came with a hard top that needs a rear window and all gaskets.

For the seals, check with MacGregor in Canada. They have what actually FITS! Did my factory MGB hardtop using their stuff for the rear and side-light seals.

Welcome to the WWOMG's... I too just picked up another B after years without. A 77 in need of some work. It too came with a hardtop in need of help...I couldn't find assorted seals for it and I finally contacted MOSS and was told that the part number 249-607 or 249-607 could maybe, possibly fit. The door opening trim on the B could do the trick. The top to the windshield trim they feel could be the same as for the convertible. Good luck and have fun!!

Hi Dan, good luck with your MGB. I agree with you about regretting selling any of my past vehicles.
