Yeah, I know, it's been like a million years since I visited this or any other BBS... Basil just poked me with a sharp stick to see if I was still alive, so I thought I'd pop in and say howdy.

Wow, I haven't even been on here since the new interface, so how long is that?

Anyway, I'm still an active MGB owner – I've just taken a sabbatical from the boards since (a) my 66 B is in primo running condition and (b) my job situation has been in a state of utter and unfortunate flux for the last couple of years. Finally lost my job at the end of last year – the newspaper business is in such a state – and am now enjoying life as a poor but busy freelancer, working from home.

You'd think that would leave me lots more time for chatting on the Internet, but truth be told, I'm spending about 18 hours a day in front of the computer, trying to earn some bucks to keep food on the table and gas in the B ...

But I'm still very involved in the local British car clubs -- Member of two and webmaster for three -- so I haven't exactly dropped off the face of the earth, MG-wise. Just haven't been out there on the websites.

I'm looking forward to MG2008 here in Pennsylvania, so hope to see some of you there!

YEAH, Kim!!! We missed ya....now, don't be a stranger....

Amazing, innit? We published a (very) small 16 page "community" tab for a while and were goin' broke for our effort. Electronic and digital media have SAVED TH' TREES!!!

Welcome back, Kim! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif

Hi Kim! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif It's great to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the slow times, but I'm sure you will be back on top in short order. The times are changing, there is no doubt. Just keep on keepin' on (to coin a 70's phrase) and above all don't be a stranger!

Isn't is great when your car runs so well that you don't have anything to post about? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Welcome back, Kim....and a shout out to Chaz!

Hey Kim! Here I just figure you were mad at us for not building that garage LOL

Hope to see you at a show or two this year...being your own boss certainly takes more time that most people think!

Good luck!

Hi Kim!
Great to see you are still out there.

I've missed the Moss Spring and Fallfest events in recent years due to conflicts with the EMRA or VRG race schedules.
But I've bought a nice, white, wire-wheel ~MGB~ and I plan on bringing it to the 2008 NAMGBR event in Valley Forge.

Nice to have you back in the fold, Kim!

We've still got plenty of the "old timers" here, and we're as feisty as ever. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Post plenty, let us know about your MG adventures!

Hi Kim, glad to see your post.

I am sorry to hear of your tribulations with regard to the job. I know that I speak for us all in wishing you success with the freelancing.

Please stop back more often, we missed you!

And all I had to do was threaten that I'd visit her in the small hours and put a bat up her nightdress if she didn't poke her head in. Good to see you again Kim!
