I am working on a 1959 Triumph (TR3) My father is the original owner of the car and I have been working on it now for, ummm a significantly long period of time. I am completing a frame off restoration with the goal of seeing my dad who is 85 drive the car in all its beautiful glory. The body work is about half way completed and being professionally done by a body shop. I am getting ready to take on the next phase which is the restoration of the engine and the mechanical parts of the car. I will have a lot of questions to ask all of you about. I look forward to interacting on this site with all of you!

What a great plan! Wishing you success and your dad some special memories. As someone 10 years his junior, I can't describe how much enjoyment I get out of driving the car I bought in 1969.

Hi There Dorn,

Thats a heck of a Tribute to your Dad. I have 4 Kids (3 Boys & Girl) & un-believably, None of them are into cars at all. The "New Generation"; Go Figure.

Your certainly on the right track etc etc. I`ve "Been there and done that" as the old saying goes.

Best Wishes,

Russ
