G day Guys, I just joined this forum. Thank you.
I was motivated to buy an unmolested 1965 BJ8 and here i am. My name Don Kuruppu, living in LA California. BJ8 had a piston stuck and engine would not turn, hence decided to take the engine out to overhaul. My happiest moment was connecting the jumper cable to the BJ8 battery wires (no bat installed).” Valla””, all the lights, horn ,wiper and signals worked after 30 odd years been stowed in Arizona.
I have a wish list of parts to replace, and MOSS Motors is the first place to do it, but hear quality of the parts are not that great. Any suggestions where i can purchase parts in US? Moving on i will be posting to gather technical information and experience from the folks here to broaden my horizons.
Thank you
Don
