In KC the weather is going to break perfect for the lbcs we all enjoy(mid 80's & no rain). KC has an all Brit motorcycle and car show that will bring in 100 to 200 vehicles. It'll be good! Anybody elso have anything planned for the week-end? Enjoy.................

Nothing planned, but I washed off the midget today and I might go for a drive despite the slipping clutch.

Looking at low 80's and dry. Perfect.
Any of you chaps going to the St. Louis show on 9/15 - 9/16?

Going for a drive this morning...mid-70's and NICE!!! Drove the Midget to work yesterday for the first time in 5 weeks! Looks like driving weather is around the corner.

It's been stinking hot in S. Cal. the past few days; yesterday, I clocked 103 degrees on the patio. That, by itself, isn't enough to keep me home, but these little uninsulated cars do much better on cooler days--I suspect it gets well over 100 degrees in the footwells sometimes. Today I hunkered down in the air-conditioning. Tomorrow I'd like to take a little spin, but I'd better get out early!

Not as hot here but still humid. No driveing for Miss Agatha she is all preped for first show next sat.

I took Frank out last evening, top down. It really was nice, hasn't been hot here but is has been warm so it was a nice night drive.
On the way home I had to put my jacket on, but that's why I keep it in the car.

I finally took a close look at the right front suspension on the Midget. I thought it was a worn TRE. Nope... loose shock! I thought I checked them back in May. I feel really stupid for not checking it out sooner. Anyway, I retightened and went for a nice drive last evening and again this morning.

The temp and the weather agreed to be really nice for the show. I'm guessing maybe 200 to 250 cars. 8 bugeyes were only a small part, I thought the Jags really showed well. There was a beautiful 53 that an older couple drove in that I was smitten by, it was perfect. A lot of Bs, mgas, Trs were present also. I better say something about the big Heallys. Nice weather, nice cars, it was fun..
