Great racing & driver photos

I should have posted my old Glen pix over here instead of in the Pub, you guys would have enjoyed some of them! What a bunch of great sites you guys have shared above!! I will have to keep watching for updates on them. Once they get into the 63-70 years I will have to look for people I knew and was hanging around with then. Those were all the tracks we ran in in the NE Region! Some of the most fun races were at Cumberland, Vineland and Bridghampton! Those WERE the days, old familiar names and a "small town" cameraderie!! I will never forget the first time we affixed a "sponsorship" decal to the car and felt we were "buggering" it up, but Valvoline was offering contingency money (that was at Cumberland)!!/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

That's a great shot! Just guessing it was a bit wet that day, too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Those aren't rain tires,Doc.that's how they were back then,(pre-slicks era) Here's a shot of the Formula B we were running back in 66-67 (note the treads) Rain tires had different and more aggressive tread patterns!!
