We went to Sacramento this last weekend & had
to rent a car (I know that it sounds strange that
with 8 cars we have to rent one,but...).
Anyway we needed a bigger vehicle.Checked with
Hertz,& they had a Fri-Mon rental on a Taurus for
$57 out the door. When we picked up the car, they were
out of Tauruss,so they gave us a Toyota Rav4 4wd
instead. With our AAA discount, the total came to $47
for three days.I was told by an employee that the
Rav4 usually goes for $80/day.
I'm posting this in case some's thinking about
renting a car,or just doesen't want to put miles on
their own vehicle.Just go to their website to check,
or reserve this.

I rent cars often here....My in-laws live up in northern Ontario....so it's stone chip central, I can get a car for the weekend for around 50 bucks, it's usually better on gas than any of my own vehicles...and the kids can eat or do whatever they want in it. about 50% of the time we get bumped to an SUV or crew cab truck which is always sweet. My son just got a new job as a emission test guy...so he's gotta be flawless with standard....so instead of burning any of my cluches, we're gunna rent a new miata for the weekend and he can spend the entire weekend on it.
