Ok, another race vid.
I chopped some out to fit on YouTube went from 38 minutes to under 10 minutes.
Grattan is a great track for the small bore guys...
I had a great battle with a few 1275 powered Bugeyes with my quick 948, and in the end...well you will have to see what I did!

Enjoy,

Velo

Looks like fun! Did that white Sprite have a 1275 in it?

Next time try using vimeo to host your videos. The format is nicer and your video's will be uploaded in their original length/quality.

I will try that one...it is a pain to edit the .avi file that I create when recording. You tube limits the file to 10 minutes and that race was 38 minutes of video.

Yes, the white Bugeye runs a 1275, there were only 4 or 5 948 engines in the race. My 948 has new pistions and rings and has been overbored .040 but it is so worn that I still have too much ring gap, I'm not sure how many more races she will make without another re-ringing job! She does handle very well and the Hoosier tires are great to slide into the turns with, but I get dropped down any long straights. I could have made a too close pass on the white Bugeye on the last lap, but thought better of it!

Velo, how is your supply of 948 cores? I've got a complete 948 engine just sitting in the corner. It was taken out of a running car a few years ago. I no longer have the HProd 948 Sprite that I picked it up to have on hand for when the grenade motor decided to ventilate the block. I went to a 1275 and to FProd after that.

I also have my heads from Winner's Circle and Comptune sitting on the shelf. These are bare heads without valves and springs. If interested give me a shout.

I'm building a Mini for racing at this time.

See PM Hedgehog...

Have fun with the Mini...I love racing with those cars as long as I can keep up with them...:(
