Looked into uship but read allot of horror stories. Considering driving up, but need to do maint on the tow vehicle. it'll cost a few dollars more to tow it back here, but I'll have new tires on the truck. Who's a cheap shipper?

I did use uShip to ship my BMW (motorcycle) from TN to UT. Good price, excellent service from the guy I choose. The trick there is to watch feedback, look at the info, and only pick one if you feel good about it.

What did ya buy ya?

'72 AMX clone. Got it from a friend. Couldn't pass it up at the price. Not my first choice but it's a retail unit.

Drew, how mauch were the uship fees? They don't mention fees till "name your price" has no fee which leads me to believe I will have to pay fees. I looked but couldn't find it. How much extra did you have to pay?

I just looked the shipment up on uShip. Quote was for $495 to ship the bike from TN to UT (enclosed trailer). Total bill was $508 ($13 in fees). That sounds about right (don't have access to records at home right now). Here's a link to uShip's fee schedule:

We need pictures of the AMX. Always been a fan.

Without these rims and tires.

Found a guy $700 enclosed single shipmwnt. Keeps in contact w/ you through whole trip and can be tracked via computer. Feedback 100%.

That'll be a fun ride -- what are the drivetrain specs? I like the AMC muscle cars -- just different enough to be interesting.

Good luck on the shipping.

304/2bbl auto w/ 2.87 gear. Not a screamer but should be quite a cruiser. Might be a 360 but is unconfirmed. I'm toying with the idea of keeping it and putting in a four speed. Gotta sell it though as that's how me makes me cake.

For $1,100 how could I say no?????

Just booked the shipper. I don't think I could get any better price or service.
