Gee, cut me some slack  I locked it because someone posted and suggested the topic could become heated. I tended to err on the side of caution and agreed with them. I know I have extremely strong opinions on the topic, but I didn't express them...not sure how long I could exercise the self-restraint! I'm weak in that regard sometimes

no offense intended- you get all the slack you need. I was just commenting on the incredibly swift action and forethought of the members here to keep forbidden topics shutdown. It is really amazing how civilized and honorable the folks here are.

No offense taken - but you're right - we have a very diverse group of folks here with extremely diverse opinions on a range of topics, but we all seem to treat each other respectfully, for which I thank everyone here!

I'll have to measure and see how much I need.

"Measure twice; cut once." :smirk:

Not a bad idea, but I checked the roll and there isn't any slack on it. On another note, I've been lookin' for some tight slacks and have been coming up short.

I stayed out of that one on purpose!

....who you callin "Diverse"?

I tried, but i was too late......

You guys.... geez.

I hate slacks !!! Gimme jeans...ya know...the old REAL denim Levi ones MADE IN USA that were TWICE as thick as the crap you buy now....

Boy, if anyone knows where to buy good jeans, let me know. I did some comparo shopping and Levi still seems to use the thickest material. Still way thinner than is used to be. I like 'em for anti-skingrafting for my motorcycle. I doubt these will do anything beyond 20 MPH, and who rides that slow anyway?

They have kevlar stitched jeans for M/C's. Can't remeber the name. I think heavy denim is a thing of the past. Maybe I should go into production, but I don't think it would sell. I feel like a chic with some of the flimsy crap they call jeans now. I can't even wear them in the house.

I've heard of those Kevlar lined pants and I should take a closer look at them. I want something that I can wear at work. Since a normal day is around 12 hours, I don't want anything to bulky or hot. My bike doesn't lend itself to storage, so bringing a change of clothes is a drag.
