Got stereo for Birthday -where to put front spkrs?

My family got a car stereo for my birthday, which I've installed.
Plays AUX from an MP3 player, has a USB connection and SD card slot as well as CD player & radio.

What I want to know is where do you put small front speakers in a Spridget?

Anyone have some put in and can share pictures?

I put mine behind the chrome grill. Similar to these in this picture. I have to credit them to a member named Tullamore if my memory serves correctly. They worked pretty good for me. I found out that 3.5" was about the max though. 4" speakers never would fit quite right without some serious modification.

mine is also similar, but i have a kicker component
set, with the tweeters behind the grille like JCs,
and the woofers mounted behind me....sounds awesome!

I did what JC did, works well. Don't have anything in the rear yet, plan on that soon.

That's great - I like that!
Thanks!

nice! - especially the before/ afters

I did the same but after I cut 4 " holes in the footwell panels I welded boxes over the holes in behind the speakers in the space between the footwell and inner fender. A hole in the footwell compromises it's strength and it may 'tin can' as a result. End product worked fine though.
