Picked up block and crank and such this moring. Everything is now painted, just need it to set and dry well before I put this lump together.

Let me tell you that strainer is clean, hehe, he used acid.

So... we'll be getting a "Vrooom!" post in about 3 hours, right? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Naa, needs to dry for 24 hours at least. Think I will start tomorrow morning. Prob preaty early though.

without rushing yourself - you should time yourself - to see what experience accomplishes

Get a good night sleep in anticipation. All aspects of this ownership thing is fun, isn't it. I agree with the vrooom thing, just tomorrow.

Jack,
Sleep in...maybe go out for breakfast. Drift on back home about mid-morning and check your email. Sit outside for a while and listen to the birds.

Have a nice lunch. Get a blanket and lay out in the back yard a while...hope for some white puffy clouds. Try to figure out what animal the cloud resembles, like you did when you were a kid. Wait...to be overtaken by a nap.

When you wake up refreshed, you might just want to think a bit about the project at hand. OK...enough thinking...go check email and help Mrs. Jack prepare dinner. Linger in soft conversation...stack the dishes, they can wait until...

Take an early evening walk, might need a light jacket. Come home and watch a little TV, then check email and turn in for the night.

Then, maybe, begin work on the next day...or maybe not.

Be certain that every day you do what you want to do; you've waited since third grade to have that luxury. If it's tearing into the project early tomorrow morning, that's fine...if it's not, that's fine.

Your friend in retirement,

Ray

PS - tomorrow I'll weld in the driver's side bulkhead/floor reinforcement brace, finish off the floor pan welds, and hang the driver's side rear suspension...or maybe not.

Tomorrow morning is engine assembly by goodness.

It is past time.

Oh, ment to mention, my entire engine shop charge was $77.

What a guy.

Nice, Jack. Glad you will be able to get that engine back together. I'm expecting a Vroom Vroom post soon.

Ray, you sure make retirement sound nice! Maybe in another 50 years... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
