Got Engine Running, But have Hydraulic Leak

I had a busy weekend. First time fluid fill...all systems and finished the electronic ignition yesterday. This afternoon my son in law came over and we attempted to bleed the hydraulic system starting with the brakes. Found I have a leak coming from the rear right wheel. It appears to be coming from inside the drum, tomorrow I'll pull the wheel off and see where It's coming from. We aborted the hydraulics and moved on to the Engine. Sat the timing marks and dropped the distributor in place. Two shots on the accelerator and it cranked over and "Purred Like a Kitten". Found a minor water leak at the base of the heater shut off valve and a minor oil leak on the hose of the spin on oil filter. Will take care of those tomorrow and put the timing light on it. The Weber Carb. needed no adjustments at all. I was really amazed at how well the engine ran. Well going out to the garage and clean up a little. Don

Minor problems. All in all, sounds like a good day to me.

Yep, well done indeed.
