This one is a early car compared to a 79. Some things are the same but you will find many things are not.
Early cars have 4 sp trans and different axle. larger gas cap as well. Is the 79 a coupe??
I would start with the best body and put in the later trans and axle. George

Well, that is very good to know, thank you. The 79 is a coupe with the big canvas sunroof. I am basically going to use the best from both cars where possible and I do believe that this one has the better body, will know more once I can get it home.
