Yup... :thumbsup: A very good book, you got the better one, there is an updated book for 1946 - 2002 that was a waste of my money, I already owned the one you have and purchased the newer one, there appeared to be no additional editing to the original (which they could have done) and the cover was flimsier...
And this one doesn't factor in Canada (why should it though, admittedly) where there were many other variables, just one as an example...
The Standard Catalog (for United States) indicates that a very small number of 1948/50 Standard Vanguard's were sold (I believe they said about 300) and after that there were no more official sales, whereas here in Canada sales of the Vanguard continued right up to the end of production in 1961... And I know of numerous examples of Phase 1 Vanguard's here in Canada still surviving, they certainly sold more than 300 of them up here...
For anyone wondering, a Phase 1 1948/51 Vanguard...
