General TR GoPro Mount

Hi

Can anyone recommend a GoPro mount for a TR4A - and for that matter a decent GoPro? Looking for a driver POV over the shoulder through the windshield, including dash gauges. Also would like to use a corded mic to the trunk area to capture exhaust sounds.

Thank much

Bob

Bob that’s what I do for my racing videos
Mine was a hero 3 black which is great and has a standard mic jack plug. I bought an extension lead for it and the cheapest “lapel mic” off eBay.
the mount is on my roll bar which makes mounting easy.
Lately I use a hero 9black but I had to buy the mic kit to allow a plug in mic.

Ah, nice thanks Hamish. I'd be good with a Hero 3 Black, even used on eBay. Unfortunately I lack a roll bar to mount it on.

Other ideas?

Bob
PS: have enjoyed your vids before!

sorry for the delay in replying. Preparing for and doing a hill climb. ( video to follow) the carb fire wasn’t too big !!!
if you are just needing video of road trips you can try the various suction mounts.
there are various types now some with multiple suction cups which has an added safety benefit.
may be positioned on the rear deck would give you the view you are looking for ?

No worries and good luck.

I think you are quite right. Came across something called the Delfin suction mount in my searches. Also GoPro also appears to have a Motorsports mount. Either should work well
