Google Maps - Weird

I was looking up Autobooks Aerobooks location - 2900 West Magnolia Blvd.,
Burbank,California and noticed something weird when I went to "Street View". It
actually takes you inside the store (or part of it). I've never seen that kind of thing
happen before.I also wonder just how they got a Google car down those aisles?
I've been there a few times,& always buy too much when I do.Best book-
store I've ever been to.

I've seen that before also. They use a person with a camera on their head. You can sometimes look around and see their shadow, or even look down and sort of see the person.
 
I've seen some hiking trails with street view and assume, like John said, that they have a human-held camera walking the trails. Pretty amazing stuff.
 
Saw a story of someone walking the Florida coastline making the street view video. Had the camera setup on a backpack.
