Yup, after much consternation about buying a +2 and modifying one of those instead I have reached a decision. The 69DHC SE S4 is going under the knife instead. I'll be taking the head off hopefully sometime this week and sending it to Bean for the "mill the intake runners off the side" operation and getting a nice valvejob/portjob to match the new cams and dellortos. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The bottom end of the motor I'll have done here in Denver.
Any denver folks out there have a recommendation ?

Good for you. I will wait with interest to see what your cost and result is, as I have a Stromberg motor which is sitting idle... You should love those Delorto carbs too...
