Wedge Good price for a TR7 seat frame?

Goooood day all,
I have been corrisponding with a gentleman in Saskatchewan who has a drivers seat frame for my TR7. Mine is busted, and has been welded already. He wants 35.00 U.S. $ plus shipping. How here thinks that is fair, or should I offer $40.00 Cdn??
It needs a cleaning, but looks solid.

It's hard to believe there isn't an orphan TR7 sitting around a field somewhere near you. Seat frames were unchanged from 76-81 so it shouldn't be tough to find.

Otherwise it's an OK price. They tend to be $50 for a pair. Mind you it's shipping that will be be the real cost so in the end it's how badly do you need the seat and how soon?

WOW.... Thanks for HEADS UP. Don't need any more 7's filling up my yard. I can pay for my daughters University instead.
A couple of 8's would be nice though.

I was just trying to get an idea on what they are worth since I hadn't purchased one before. My thoughts were after the $1.33 exchange rate (He lives in Saskatchewan???) and the shipping cost!!!
By the way, I found one here in Ontario today, full padding, great shape, for.. Are you ready.. $60.00 Canadian.

Around here if you want a 7 part you just ask some PDB that has a dead one for permission to take it, hoping like mad that he wont make you take it all!!!!
