well the good new is,,,,
the car is coming along good,
most of my parts to finish the
outside are in and the paint prep
is almost done.....
i should have a driver soon

the pics are just primer after a quick
wash, so its wet in the pics....
i really dont know when to stop so it
should come out nice and smooth.....
not even we sanded yet......
go see the pics here: primer pics.......

now the bad news :
since the economy is shot and houses arent selling,
im pretty well "laid off" till i find another
occupation, which means no money for my trip to
the Ozarks. ;(
i havent gave up, but its not looking good at this time.
im really disappointed and will still try, but i
dont see it happening at this point..
sooooo, if any of u are coming through NW arkansas

And the good news is.........you have lots of time to work on the little car.

We going to miss you Zimmy.

Sorry to hear about it, Zimmy, though I understand (I had to back out of the Ozarks trip as well). Jack's right, though. More time to get your car in good shape. Not much of a compensation, but it's something.

Good luck on the job front, too.

i havent totally given up..
i want onea those new badges
to wear around my neck like a pimp
hahhaa....
im REALLY disappointed,...ill direct
my rage at Bush and his "give all our money
to the middle east" economy!!! z :madder: :wall:

Man, Zimmy, I was looking forward to meeting you. Hope things go well for you. There was somebody here who was going to camp out there someplace, if you change your mind you might be able to pull up a tent with them.

That was me talking about camping, Kim. Unfortunately, due in part to similar reasons that zimmy cites I do not think I will be making it either. I have been silent in the hopes that something might change, but as things change, they seem to change for the worse!!! Being an eternal optimist, I have not totally given up hope, but the chances are getting pretty darned slim! :wall:

I console myself by telling myself that Ol' Bug-I is only 49 and does not have her 50th B-day 'til next year!!

What! BugiMike isn't going to be there? Well, I guess we'll have to do it next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the second model year of the Sprite.

Darn, guys - I was looking forward to meeting all of you...I'm coming whether my car's finished or not....if I buy an enclosed trailer, I may push the unfinished product inside so everybody can pick it apart!

Good thinking Trevor.
But Mike may want us to go to Cyprus as well. :jester:

Stuart.

Well, if I could afford the trip to Cyprus, I would certainly be making the trip to the Ozarks first  !!!! Our cars would all have the steering on the wrong side over there anyway (RHD) and the shipping :eeek: !!! But boy there are some fun roads for LBCs!! :driving:
