Some stuff you just see but doesn't detract from the story.
True. I'm often amazed at how hard some move makers work at getting things accurate when most folks won't notice anyway. For years, it seemed like every AT-6 left flying was painted up like a Zero for some movie but, given the difficulty of getting a bunch of serviceable Zeros together this seemed a reasonable alternative.
One area where I think many movie makers mess up, though, is with regional accents. Even experienced actors usually can't fake an accent for long. Some of the northern New England accents that have been attempted in movies are laughable and I'm sure people in other areas of the country (or world) notice this as well. It's far better to let a good actor just talk with their normal accent (or lack of same) than to force them to fake it.
We all have our hot buttons....
The thing that always catches my eye is when cars in movies have unfortunate incidents and you can clearly see there is no engine, drive train and most unexplainedly rather large holes in the chassis......how did that happen?LoL
