Half the price of mine... :frown:

Don't know if these things are ever going to get the credit they deserve.

Too bad.

Randy, I knew going in that most look down their noses on the TR8's. Didn't matter to me then, as it was (and is) a hobby; not a business for me.

The fact is that ALL cars' values are deflated right now. We're dealing with that with Tony Barnhill's cars, and it's too bad. However, they need to go, and go they will.

I have time to wait a while on selling mine, and am not going to give it away. Still, it will sell for far less than it's worth, regardless of how much I've put in it. As I said, I knew that going in, but it didn't stop me. If that were the case, I wouldn't have ANY toys at all!

The supposed "Rare" black TR8 sounds fishy! Black.....not a TR8 color and never was. Rare Fuel injection? All TR8s for california and then in 1981 were fuel injected so rare....not really. Now lets see the cars VIN, Build Date, Paint and trim codes to answer the questions of what it really is. Looks more like someone took a TR7 Spider and slipped in the TR8 parts. Now the other TR8s look like the typical cars you find for sale. Some work and then you have a great driver!

I don't know much, but if the car is original,
would it not still have the stickers attached to the underside of the hood?
Just my 2ct.
