If you are working reinstalling your clutch master cylinder and you are trying to get the socket wrench to engage and your hands are a little bit greasy, it is a really good idea to put a rag over the space between the inner fender and the outer fender just in case your socket wrench jumps out of your hand and falls into that space.

Not that such a thing would ever really happen :blush: actually it happened to a friend, yeah, thats it, I'm telling you what happened to a friend. :yesnod:

Just sayin' is all.

BTW a welding magnet held in a set of vice grips (with the handles tied shut) and a piece of rope to pull it all out works to get your socket wrench back - don't ask me how I know.
 
I periodically find all manner of treasures in that little nook. I am convinced I am going to find a chest full of confederate gold in there one day. Or maybe that's where all the money that seems to disappear around my car goes. Better take another look this weekend.
 
I actually threw a couple screw drivers and a pair of pliers down there - now I have a toolkit.
 
A apl of mine has a stocked toolbox drawer from all the "stray" tools he's found in the various nooks-n-crannies in LBCs. Calls it his "cow tool" collection.
