TR2/3/3A Good Compression

I have a 1954 TR-2 that has sat idle for 30 years. I drained the oil and changed the filter. Pulled the coil wire and the plugs. Turned the engine over, no problems or bad noises. I checked the compression and all four cylinders were Spot-On 165#. Is that a good reading, as I don't plan on doing anything internally to the engine, other then replacing the rear seal; the reason the TR was parked 30 years ago. This was discussed in one of my earlier Posts.

Although it may be possible to change the seal with the engine in the chassis, I for one would not even attempt it. And it would be difficult for me to pull it and dismantle the lower end without getting into it (best to leave the head on if you just do the bottom). I would at least mic the crank and renew the bearings.
Compression seems fine to me.
