We were e-mailed this today....I'll be in Canada, so I can't do it, but it looks like a nice cause for anyone near the Glen who wants to volunteer and see race cars too.

I am looking for volunteers to help work the Nascar Event at Watkins Glen August 12-15th. Position's needed include Ushers, Waiver signers in the pits, ticket sales, etc. Camping spaces have been reserved free of charge and the shifts are 8-4 pm or 12-8PM. The track will donate the money they would normally spend on paid staff in these postions to a group I am working with in Wellsboro Pa. The group is trying to build a handicapped accessible playground so children of all abilities can play together. Last year we raised $3000.00 with minimal volunteers but we had a BLAST!
