Gold Wheels

I recently came into possession of a set of gold painted 60 spoke 15" wire wheels. Being a TR guy I have no knoweledge of a car that sported these wheels. I am thinking of painting them silver and selling them but don't want to change them if someone needs gold. Where did they come from?

From the movie, "Norbit", perhaps?

Gawd! "GOLD" wires?!?!

Sandbalst 'em and use Rustoleum silver. Otherwise they're party favors.

An interesting look. I imagine if I had gold wires in the neighborhood I currently live in it wouldn't be too long before I walked out to find my B on cinders... Already lost a gas cap because it was apparently too fancy.
