What parts are desirable/ hard to get for these. What should I look for body wise to see if a car is restorable? Thanks. I have a Midget and don't know anything about these. I'd like a V8 swap candidate.
 
Very few parts are hard to find for the rubber bumper MGB.

The rubber bumper car is a great candidate for a V8 swap as the engine bay is ready to go with few alterations necessary.

Look at the sills and floors...rust is your enemy....and can eat up $$$ of your conversion budget.
