Man I hate Winter! Going to 29 degrees tonight and then back up to 60s and 70s! Shorter days, dark before 5 PM in mid Winter which wouldn't be so bad if the time didn't change. Still don't know what the advantage of the time change is! Everyone I talk to hates it also. I love the outdoors, but don't like putting on 10 pounds of clothes to stay warm. Oh well, Summers coming later, just not soon enough. Have to bring the car out of the shop, which isn't heated and put it in the garage which is. Oh well such is life. :soapbox: PJ

Paul- This is a more enjoyable "29"...

Yeah, so much for the Indian summer but I really can't blame 'em for ending it early.

29 and snowing now here in Townsend (7:25am). 90% chance of continuing the rest of the day, with the high in the 30's.

snowflakes here - :cryin:

What are these "snowflakes" you speak of, JP?!? Johnny Hart's B.C. cartoons come to mind. His characters defined 'em as "fat rain."

That's what SWMBO said - "it's just rain," sigh. Sadly, knowing where you live (particularly in the winter) and, of course at least half the cars on this forum = two more reasons this lips ain't preaching a "thou shalt not covet" sermon any time soon.

Just got done removing the cutting deck and installing the snow blade. Tomorrow I'll put the chains on. I hate the snow!

Well, John, surprisingly it is water and it falls out of the sky. For you folk "out west" it's kinda hard to accept, I realize. :jester:

Just this Saturday more than a quarter inch of rain fell in the L.A. area. A zombie apocalypse would not have caused as much panic.
