Going for a little walk

In Rekyavik now - apparently they weren’t expecting us  but are hopping too.

no shark for me! Hopefully though the Blue Lagoon.

Oh and 11:15 pm and still light out!

and we are home! didn't get to the Blue Lagoon but there was a public pool next to the hotel - with Hot Tubs! (very warm pool - all geothermal) so a nice swim, a walk by the water and back to the airport.

relatively smooth home - now to begin the "getting compensation" process. apparently being bumped from an international flight originating in Europe is pretty much the best case scenario.

Welcome back! Bet it will be good to sleep in your own bed again!

you have no idea! (this is the longest we have ever been away from home in one time period - even the house looks different)

Did you have someone babysitting the house?

Our daughter (and to a lesser extent our son - who mowed the lawn) we have an apartment attached to the house - she lives in it.
