Gmail trouble?

This morning I sent three emails through my usual (web-based) Gmail account.

All three messages seem to have disappeared.

When I clicked Send, I got the usual "Sending..." icon, then the page changed to my usual Inbox screen.

But after an hour, none of the three messages have shown up in my Sent box.

Incoming messages are running fine.

I even sent a message to myself; it seemed to be sent correctly, but still isn't in my Sent box after 10 minutes. And I just noticed that a couple messages I sent last night are missing also.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just sent myself an email via gmail... everything working as it should here.

Tom, the email did not arrive yet, but I have sent out emails that took nearly 24 hours so that the second attempt arrived before the original. They are probably stuck in a server that is having a problem...

I wonder if you forwarded the emails that are in your sent folder to the original recipients if they would not get the forwards first as well...

hehehe, my Yahoo mail gets lost in cyber space all the time.

Maybe someone should write a film script about a kid who gets struck by lightening while posting online and gets trapped in the 'net. Kinda like "Weird Science" but without Kelly LeBrock in her underwear.
