GM killing off the Holden

Read that. Oz, NZ and Thailand. Whatever shall they do for the Camaro? Since General Misunderstanding quit RWD cars and had to bring the Holden body/chassis in to make the Camaro in RWD.....

Saw a number of them in Thailand, back-when. They struck me as obviously "western" compared with most of the other vehicles there. Surprised at the GM decision to leave Oz.

Sad - next thing you know,MG will probably quit making cars there too.

I rented a car while I was in Australia a lot of years ago. My Sisters father in law said "I see you have a Kangaroo Yank Tank" It was a Holden Commodore.

Did a lot of miles in it but when I went back to Australia years later I got a much smaller car with manual transmission.

Vauxhall was sold to Peugeot a year or more back.
