I've had problems with the newer "Safety" rocker switches in the past, they are a bit less well built (too much plastic, IMO), but still servicable if they're intact to begin with.

My turn signal switch will need to be replaced. I had to break it to make it work, so I have to hold it in place for a right turn and lift it up after a left turn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
 
That's better than mine... it has a sweet spot, just before it locks ito place, where the signals work, anything before or after and no blinkers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif But, I'll be taking it apart soon. I should be ready to start the project by january or so.
