Glueing dashboard

Does anyone know a good type of contact cement that will bond plastic.
Just got knew dash facia need to glue it to the old metal core, Went to home depot got some weldwood contact cement didn't work to well. Moss told me to get contact cement,I must have bought the wrong kind. Thanks.

I used 3m automotive trim adhesive from vato zone. Worked fantastic

'Barge' is a shoe makers contact cement...i use it for everything...never have much luck with spray glue...doesn't seem to like heat (hot interiors)!
