Wedge Glove box lock removal

How do you remove this lock from the glove box cover? Loosened the screws and tried pulling, tried the key installed nothing seems to work. Re-dying the dash and worn a lot around the edges so this needs to come out.

Probably comes out the front and separates in two halfs. Got a lock shop close by.....drive it in to see them.

Remove two screws on the back. Remove the rubber square on the front that pushes on around the lock cylinder. It just pulls off. Then the whole assembly slides out the back.
