Hello, my name is Tom. I live in Southern California and I’ve had the pleasure of owning 3 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprites and one Mk 4 Sprite. The first 1960 Bugeye I purchased was after my tour of duty in the USMC back in 1966. It really got me hooked on Sprites, so much so that a bought a brand new Mk IV in1967. My next one in 1996 was another 1960 Bugeye I had partially restored but lost in a divorce. That brings us to this year when I purchased another 1960 Bugeye. As anyone can see…I’m hooked. To me it’s like buying a new car again. Since I’m not a mechanic, I will be seeking assistance from other members on various issues. I’m looking forward to interacting with each of you. Welcome to BCF, Tom (and yes, thanks for your service!). You will find we have a special forum for Sprites and Midgets, called the "Spridget" forum. It is separate from the "Austin Healey forum, which is focuses mostly on the "big" Healeys.
