Thanks Elliot.Did I expect anything else?

Mini van?

I have a standing rule with all my college buddy's. If they see me driving a mini van, smiling or not, they are to shoot to kill on the spot.

Min van? Really? Can't bust out a Jeep, Durango, BMW X5, Lexus or something cool?

What's next? Black sandals and yellow socks? hahahahahaha

We all love ya Don.... I am just pulling your chain.

Don dressed for the occasion....

Dude- finished moving my daughters stuff to storage.
Went back to the airport and got a totally different ride.
On our war to Charleston in a Chrysler 200 convertible.
is that better.? Am I allowed back in the man club again?

As long as you don't wear those shoes

... and you probably will need to lower your belt-line from your nipples back to your waste (and don't forget to turn that left blinker off). :cooler:

Just glue Jaguar emblems over the Chrysler emblems on the convert, and tell folks it's the latest Jag.

I was just in traffic behind a new XK. VERY aggressive lookin' from behind, doubt a rebadged Chrysler could "pass" for one.

I sure couldn't get by him to see what the front aspect looked like, either.

I hate that type of attitude - we had a Ford Aerostar,
because we had 3 kids & needed a sensible vehicle. It was
the perfect vehicle for our needs.
We had neighbors with kids that had a Camaro, cramped,
impracticle - but they looked "cool".Why?
If this was meant in humor - I apologize, otherwise,I
feel very sorry that image is more important that being practicle.

I hate mini vans for a different reason. Maintenance.

But, I'm a big fan of station wagons!
Still have a Willys, had a 72 Pinto wagon and a 78 Fairmont wagon...currently an Explorer Sport.
Handy.

I must be the odd man out. I love a good minivan.

Mum bought the first one in '84 (a Dodge Caravan), and there's been a succession of them in the family ever since. There are very few vehicles that are anywhere near as flexible. She now has a '08 Town & Country (bought it when the car market was dead, so got a killer deal on it). That thing has those stow & go seats and the automatic doors on both sides. Amazing! The amount of kids, dogs, stuff, etc you can cram in that thing is just incredible.

We drive a Ford Explorer, and I'd trade it for one of those Town & Country's in a heartbeat. My challenge is convincing the wife to drive one. She thinks she can cram the kids into the back of a Challenger.

We're about to do our summer exodus out of Phoenix to Seattle and the wife will be driving Mum's car up north. I'm really hoping she falls in love with it during the drive.
