I always check my Gig Line, having learned 50 years ago, in high school ROTC drill team.

How many of you check your Gig Line?

How many of you even know what a Gig Line is?

It's the alignment of those "heavenly bodies"

I'd tell you, but I'd have to gig ya.

Yes, I am in the habit of checking the line that runs down the leading edge of the shirt/button line, across the leading edge of the belt buckle and down the leading edge of the zipper seam line to ensure they are all in perfect alignment.

I only check that line when my shirts are tucked in and/or I'm wearing a belt...

I gave up years ago and went to bib overalls......they do it all for me now.

A belt without pants? Not something I wanted to imagine.

and yet still the need for a gig line check

Came late but yeah, if it's a client and the uniform of the day is shirt 'n pants, I check.

And I only bother checking when I wear the kilt. :angel:Or have to wear a tie with pants, belt and shirt.

The rest of the time I'm scruffy. :confuse:

Stuart.

Sure! it's the telephone line used to book your band. Always good to check it to make sure you show up at the right place.
