Getting There - Jamaican Up-date

Re: Getting There - Jamaican Update

I think the plenum works with the cast alloy Fiero valve covers to give a sort of faux MG quality.....

Bill, you should think about designing a universal motif mount on the hood or the tail. You could switch motifs every week, Alpha, Lambo, Ferrari, Spohnsanati, Spohnsanello. You could tell them it was a one-off design for MG by that great Italian designer Billeto Spohnsanetti.

It does look great. No to the spoiler, yes to the headlight covers.

Yup - think I'll try out the headlight covers as that is what a Jamaican is supposed to have and hold on the spoiler until I get used to the car without - we'll see.

Guess it may be time to have a T shirt made for GT-32 with a pic of the car and the caption "Jamaican me crazy!

It is too bad that I couldn't have fit a Twincam engine under there, but I really didn't want to start cutting up that hood - there are so few Jamaicans and so many of the existing ones have been heavily customised...

Re: Getting There - Jamaican Update

A tip of the 'ol Hatlo hat for not whacking the hood. The lines on the car are quite pleasing and sticking a lump or a bump or a big blower thingy through, or onto, the hood wouldn't improve them.
