Went to the local parts store after I'd figured out
the the brake shoes needed to be arced on the B210.Was told
that they'd "haven't done that in over 15 years".
Is there anyone that I can send them to,& have it done?
Or an I'm just getting old?

I have an arcing machine, but it will be sometime before I have a garage to work in. There is a place I know of down near LA that still does it but I don't know if they will work on something you bring in yourself. I usually have them arc my shoes after they re-line them. There's actually another place down here that might do it, but I'll have to call and check with them. My only other suggestion would be to go to a truck repair place. They do things that no one else does anymore, like rebuilding leaf springs, etc. They probably arc brake shoes since most trucks still use drum brakes.

I could probably find 3 or 4 shops locally who could arc a brake shoe. But absolutely no one who could bend an exhaust pipe. All they could is put on pre-made exhausts. Allot of the skills needed for our cars seem to be disappearing.

Done em with a file, then finished with sandpaper stuck to the drum. Belt sander works, but you need a respirator for yourself and a vacuum attachment for the sander. These methods are no longer acceptable due to the risk of asbestosis.
