Getting it opened!

I had to have a lock smith come out and re key my doors and ignition, there are numbers on the outer casing of the locks he can read these numbers {Looked down the door with a flashlight and a small mirror to read the numbers} and look in his big book for the pattern, he will cut you a new key in a jiffy. Rather pricy tho I must admit.

Is this car very near to you? As I am only about one hour away and would be willing to open the doors. I have rekeyed a few locks in my time for warranty and do know how. Give me an e-mail (see my profile for address) and I'll return my phone number. Dave

Thanks alot for the offer, The car is in WoodBridge. I just made an offer on it a couple hours ago and haven't heard from the owner yet(I had left a message) so if I do get it and it does come down to it needing rekeyed I'll be sure to let you know and I'd appreciate any help you can give.

I thought I might be able to get it opened with the keys to my other TR6 also, locks are probably worn out anyway.

Thanks for all the help everyone, cheers

As I am blessed with extra time right now, I'll be more than glad to help you out. Just keep me up to date and we'll get done what needs doing. Besides, I require adventures now and again to keep me young Ha Ha! Dave

we'll do....so far I haven't heard from the owner, so I might not even have to worry about breakin into my own car /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
