Get anything Spridgety for Christmas?

I got a factory hardtop for my MK1 Midget.... But Santa delivered it to JP's house. :cryin:

you mean it was supposed to be under the tree day before yesterday?! Oh dear :wall:

I think Santa intends to bring it a bit closer each Christmas. It should make it to Chicago or someplace like that next Christmas. Hopefully it goes West and not South. Just my luck, it will end up at Hap's or Doc's or some such place instead. :smirk:

Yes, Santa was good to me, my "new" toy!

Woohoo!
I've been holding onto this for half a year now, but I can now take it out of my desk and use it! Well, technically not 'til Jan 1, but I couldn't wait; so I'm calling it my Christmas present to Nigel.

Before: Just another car on the road in the eyes of the DMV.

And after!

No more fielding "what year is that?" questions!
Instant provenance!
A measure of latitude from angry drivers who try to blast around me!
And NO MORE INSPECTIONS!

a 1978 MGB...... My rich uncle thought it easier to ship to me than to sell it.

Looks like I'll be monitoring two forums now.

LOL, good on ya.
