Is that a Pic-a-Nic basket boo boo?

Some folks may not like the luggage rack but I sure do! and I know that they are useful- I once hauled my roll-away tool chest to work (during summer break from college) on the luggage rack of my MkII and it held (even if I did hold my breath the entire trip!!)

Perfect! You have just enough room for a 12 Pack or a case of wine! LOL!

I knew you were gonna do it, Jack! I just knew it!

As much as I'm averse to drilling holes in panels, I gotta say it looks classy.

Looks Nice!

On my current project, those holes rusted much faster than many of the others. Did you paint the exposed metal before mounting the rack?

Susprise, I did not drill any holes, in fact it was just setting there for the pic and to see how I liked it.

I think I like it, going to think some more.

I would do the holes like I did on my boat, a bit of epoxy or paint around the bare metal.

She's looking good, Jack. If you like the rack, mount it up and enjoy.
