No connection, I found him while poking around craigslist a couple days ago. I asked about one of the Tach's to replace mine and got the impression that a) most of his stuff is bugeye era b) he's got more than he bothered to list c) doesn't know a whole heck of alot about the stuff.
It's atleast worth a shot.
