I note my just received generater has a much smaller pully than the other two old ones. the older ones were for a TC/TD the new one is 1969. I know the smaller one will turn faster but is this not a good thing with a generator on a street car with light use??

yes... so what is the correct diameter for a bugeye generator.

Bug pully is about 3 3/4" the late model one from Trevor is about 3".

Yep I should expect that would effect the tac, guess I best change it.

I didn't send you a pulley... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Noop, had a pully on the front, was a bit to small, changed to a Bugeye one, just fine.

Generator works great, light goes on and off when it should. Just came back from a trip around the block, wheeee.

Onward we go. Think the carbs are a bit lean yet, we will see. Second gear is stiff, think there must be a small burr on the detent or the detent plunger is stiff as can be yet.

Now for more bonnet work and lights and such. Gota have a bit of progress here. Two steps backward one step forward it seems.
