anyone have a generator pulley they want to part with? Mine cleaned up nice, but is a bit too pitted... and I just cant see paying $90 for a new one from Moss...

There should be buckets of those things lying around. Let me go see if I have one on an old generator.

OK, I have a pretty nice OEM pulley. Since Moss wants $95 for a reproduction, mine should be worth at least $115. Just kidding, send me you address and I'll get it in the mail to you early next week.

Putting it in the mail today. I found two, and blasted both of them. I'm sending you the one with the least amount of pitting (practically none), though the rear lip does have a slight bend (can be fixed). In reality, it is just about perfect ... except for the crappy paint I sprayed on it after blasting it.

Thanks Trevor!

Mark,

believe it or not, that car is in great shape - unlike the pulley. It was my grandfather's car and has been in storage since 1973. more pics in my signature if you want to check on our progress...
