Can anybody give me an exact description of how the generator mounts to the sliding bracket of my Bugeye 948? I see the pictures but I can't seem to figure it out. A digital photograph would really help.

The sliding bracket bolts to the engine via the slotted hole.
Sort of reverse from the normal.
The single hole (smaller) bolts to the generator.
There should be a spacer bolt (threaded on each end) thru the engine front plate, spacer sticks out in front.
 
Sorry to keep bugging you with this, but I can't seem to make it mesh. If I bolt the bracket to the generator via the single hole first, there's a space between the bracket and the hole on the engine front plate. The spacer I have has two threaded ends a fatter portion that looks like a pulley.I think its VB #2-785 That portion is too wide for the gap. I can't seem to locate any other type of spacer. Can I fill the gap with a bunch of flat washers and use a regular hex bolt or should I use VB #14-899 even though its for a 1098 and I have a 948?
