Generator bracket legnth?
Another Question! Can anyone tell me the legnth of the bottom (adjustable) bracket for the 948 thru 1275 engine? I sent my generator out for a rebuild last Spring and left the bracket on the unit. When I picked it up I saw the bracket in the box, but didn't pay any atention to the size of the bracket. Yesterday when I went to install the generator I found the bracket is very short of connecting to the botom of the generator. My bracket is about 4" long. Both Moss and V.B. list the same bracket for all 948 to 1275 engines with a generator. Is the the correct size bracket?
